• Born in 1976, Chitara kiran comes from a lineage of “MATA NI PACHHEDI” painters of as early as the
700 Years Old. Chitara kiran started painting from the age of 7 with His father chitara bhulabhai who received a
Shilp guru award. Mata ni pachedi was initially done with a mixture of Kalamkari and block printing, but with this skill set
that he should started experimenting the entire Fabric with kalamkari,and he made the first
time by kalamkari Mata ni Pachhedi as well in traditional colours with other natural colours at the age of 10

• Chitara kiran ”. Since 1990 he has conducted around 270 more workshops at various Schools all over India and From various foreign universities people come to learn this art like University of Washington School of Public Health
