Milan Design Week 2019
Direct Create launched it's European operations to our global audiences in the Milan Design Week, planned between 8th to 14th April 2019. DC built an exciting concept woven around the Sustainable Luxury - A range of design, material and craft opportunities that excited the designers and retailers quite well, having the potential of customizing bespoke crafts for their projects and stores. The presentation focused on Material Innovation and trans-pollination of ancient skills into contemporary applications. The exhibits showcased innovative ways in which traditional crafts can be used to create outstanding new products and finishes. Our Target Audience: Interior Architect and Designers, Product Designers, ( B2B ) Retailers - Home and Lifestyle segment, ( B2B ) Boutique Store Owners Our exhibit played on crafts, materials, textures, techniques and designs.

Trichy UTSAV 2019
Direct Create organized the Trichy Utsav on 6th, 7th and 8th of September, 2019 at the Sangam Hotel in Trichy. We had a tremendous response from over 10,000 people who experienced the best of Indian crafts when we organised the Utsav in 2017 with quite decent sales numbers. The Utsav was a handcrafted experience through music, folk performances, theatre, puppetry show and at the heart of it was all the best of Indian handcrafted products. We invited makers as well as designers from across India to participate at the Trichy Utsav with us and showcase theircollections and new ranges to the denizens of Trichy. It was a great experience!

Jaipur Literature Festival
Direct Create designed and produced an exciting thematic collection comprising of mugs , t shirts , cushion covers , Dining Linen, key chains and other souvenir pieces which epitomize the spirit of the festival and what it stands for . Muchhad was the theme of the festival, and the products revolved around the theme. DC brought together a community of over 50 individual makers, designers and buyers to curate the marketplace. The Bazaar showcased more than 20000 exquisite and curated, handcrafted products made by a diverse group of makers coming from across 15 states of India. Every product was handmade with a sense of love and affection.
