I am representing Jana Sanjeevani Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd. a community women-led organization based out of Gurgaon (Haryana). Jan Sanjeevani was established during the peak season of COVID in 2020 with a vision to empower community women with financial securities through different financial products and alternate livelihood opportunities. Over the period of 2 years - Jan Sanjeevani enrolled 1700+ community women as their members and supported them through different initiatives. Jana Sanjeevani is a community-based organization and is headed by community women leaders. Within the livelihood initiatives- Jana Sanjeevani has helped its members with training on different products which can generate alternate livelihood opportunities for their members. Some of the products include (1) Hand Made Soaps (2) Scented Decorative Candles and cloth-based products such as bags, potlis, and pouches. Other than training Jana Sanjeevani Cooperative also helps its members with different platforms to sell these products through its partners and networks. My role in the given profile is to strengthen the operations of Jana Sanjeevani, build their leadership, and help them to add meaningfully to the lives of their women members' wellbeing
