Weaving has been a traditional occupation in our family. I started learning weaving under my father's supervision, who had an experience of over 25 years in this field, ranging from weaving traditional wear items for the Rabari Community to serving as the Secretary of Weavers' Cooperation in Bhujodi for 11 years. Having pursued the designing course from Kala Raksha Vidyalaya, I believe in giving impetus to my craft by giving a modern look with the traditional.

After taking the shuttle loom training in 1971, he used to weave and sell blankets, cotton bed covers and shawls, etc. in the local market.
