Taking inspiration from the ‘Modular Man’ devised by Le Corbusier and ancient Japanese Tatami mats, the idea was to fuse concepts of modularity with the traditional indigenous craft practices in India. Using the humble rectangular geometrical form this partition system makes use of the teak wood with movable intricate embroidery in each of its modules. It is a perfect backdrop for WFH, dividing the semi-private and public spaces.
