Eri is an integral part of the Assamese culture is also known as “Ahimsa” silk because it is a vegan silk, i.e., the silk worms are not killed in the process of the preparation of the yarn. The warp is dyed with natural extracts obtained from onion skin and the weft is dyed with natural off white extracts. It can add an unique ethnic style to your outfit, be it Indian or western.
