A Bengal pawtochitra using acrylic colors on canvas depicts Devi Durga as the central character. The entire painting is classified into several compartments and we can see Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh or Shiva occupying one such compartment. Then there are demons - Dakini and Yogini. Devi's children and their respective 'vahans' are to be found in the other compartments. The aqua blue color used in the background accentuates the overall effect of the artwork.
