Baba Art and Crafts is a source of unique art and craft established in 70’s with a clear motive to display best from the art of Paper mache. Babs’s have few of the experienced artisans working with them who have been working in the world of art for more than 50 years now. While new generation in the valley has decided to move forward, and have almost forgotten the golden Art of paper mache. Hussain Baba local kashmiri living in outskirts of downtown, Srinagar believes it could be saved from vanishing and has encouraged young generation to work with them and among which are mostly women. Hussain recently completed his Master in Psychology and decided to work full time to promote the Art of Paper Mache to the modern times.
