Within Mamasa (a city in West Sulawesi, Indonesia), lies the cultural heritage of creating handwoven textiles by backstrap loom weaving, called Tenun. This key chain is woven by the women of rural and indigenous communities in Mamasa using one of the most unique techniques of Tenun called Pallawa'. This type of technique is also known as tablet weaving where weavers use cards as their weaving tool.
