This unique chutney jar speaks of an era of ‘Lattus’ gone by. People have moved on to ‘beyblades’, but Nandu Kaka from Banaras, the man behind these Jars is keeping a long lost tradition alive. He might not be cutting ‘lattus’ now, but through these chatni jars he is telling the story of ‘lakdi ke khilaune’ and making use of an art he learned from his father.
