Naina-Jogin is one of the creations in Mithila Art which traditionally symbolizes this goddess to protect the newly-wed from embarrassment. It is placed in the Kohbar-ghar at the four corners of the room. Now, It is used to make space more auspicious which is considered to be the protector from evil eyes and negative spirits.
I am Madhubani artist working in both traditional and contemporary styles. I have been part of national and international shows. Throughout my artistic journey of almost 15 yrs, I have developed my own individual style and understanding of this ancient language of visual art.
