We are weavers from Nalgonda Telangana, working on silk ikkat POCHAMPALLY sarees, duppatta and lehengas, since 30 years. Pochampalli Silk is a type of silk originating from the town of Boodhan Pochampally, located in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The town is popularly known as the silk city of India. We have taught this skill to around 12 women till date. Our family is involved in this business since ages, and we aim to stick on to this tradition.
